Revlon Royal! AKA, my favorite Polish!

Hello All!!

So, I realized that I hadn't shown you swatches of my absolute favorite polish! Sure I've attempted a jelly sandwich with it, but I haven't shown you it on it's on..

Everyone who has read this blog for any amount of time, knows that I LOVE the color blue! Seriously, I adore that color! I break no buys for that color.. I want to own all Indie polishes that are blue! And, I happen to also love Jellies...

So when you put the two together.. you get.. Revlon Royal!

I love this polish, seriously! I got this baby back when my polish stash was pretty small, maybe about 20 bottles, and I have well over 100 now! (Whoops!) And so far, nothing has even come close to replacing this polish for me! It's.. Ah..MAZING!!

The below pictures are 2 coats of Revlon Royal, with one coat of Seche Vite over it..

So.. pretty!! Look at that deep royal blue! The squishiness, the shine, the amazing inner glow this polish has!! Best.Polish.Ever. In my opinion.. of course!

Here comes the pictures.. Feel free to drool..

Glitter Bomb!!

Hello All,
I hope everyone is doing well and having  a good week! I am getting excited, my husband and I are taking a Vacation soon, and we get to go home, well, back to California where all of our friends and family are.. So I consider that home, instead of where we are now, Washington.

This mani is a new one for me, it's a Glitter Bomb!! I haven't done one yet, and what is a better way to kill off several untried's than to layer them over one another!! :D (I have wayy to many untried's at the moment! Over 30.. at least and more on the way!)

This is, (are you ready for this?) Two Coats of butterLondon's Bluey, one coat of Wet-n-Wilds Teal of Fortune, One coat of Ulta's Indigo-Go Girl, one coat of Icings Lemme See your Peacock and one coat of a holorgrapic sparkle that didn't have a name..

Whew!

Color Block!

Hey all! I hope you had a great weekend? I did! It's been one of the better weekends I have had in awhile! :D
I decided to try a color block again, and this time it turned out pretty much perfect! And, it's mostly blue! I am happiest when my nails are blue! :D

For this mani I panted on two coats of Sinful's Sweet Dreams, which is an amazing Blue Shimmery polish! Then I added a coat of Seche Vite and waited for that all to dry, and then I taped off my nails and added China Glaze's Dorothy Who, a fantastic blue glitter!  After that dried, I added another coat of Seche Vite, and then taped them off again, and Added Sinful's Black on Black for the last bit of it.

And ended up with this!

My Sponged Night Sky!

Hello All!

I hope you are all having a good week?

Today's mani, is something that I am pretty proud of actually. This is actually inspired by a video game! I was watching my husband Josh play a game called Xenoblade, and he was in one area, and it was night time. And he panned up to the sky, and all I could see was a dark blue and purple sky, with areas of pink in it, and I knew that I had to do my nails just like that.

So I got out my colors and started working. I have on two coats of Essie's Marshmallow, and then I took a regular cosmetic sponge, and blobbed some colors on it, and then.. sponged it on my nails!

The blue is Essie's Midnight Cami, the Purple is butterLondon's HRH and the Pink is Essie's Sure Shot! This was super easy, and I used the same technique as I used for my last sponge gradient.

After it was dry, I used a Coat of China' Glaze's Fairy dust to look like stars and there you have it! My night sky! :D

It turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it too! I was so proud of this, I didn't want to take it off!

Fantasy Fire!

Hello!

Happy Friday All! I hope you all had a good week? I am fully looking forward to the weekend! I might make an excursion up to Ulta, as well as Icing (to get things for a swap.)

Today, I have a fun mani for you. This is three coats of China Glaze's Awakening, with two coats of Max Factor's Fantasy Fire over it!! I was a little Meh over Fantasy Fire when I got it on.. I stared at my nails and was all.. "Where is this sparkle people keep talking about?"

And then I went outside! We had a rare day of sunshine around here, and Bam! My nails came to life in the sun! Which is why these pictures are all in the sun! The red and gold shimmer came to life, and at certain angles, there was a green-blue shimmer! I seriously couldn't stop staring at my nails!

Pretty & Polished Pool Party!

Hello All!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a great week?

Today I have an awesome mani for you. I have another Pretty & Polished polish for you! This is Pool Party!
I am seriously in love with this polish! It is so beautiful! It's almost like me in a bottle! It's such a pretty blue jelly, and the multi-colored glitters in it, make it look like a pool with different toys and floaties in the water!

You all know how much I love blue and jellies, and the glitter in here, just makes it pop! I didn't want to take this off! In fact, I was going to matte it, but in the dark I reached for Shine of the Times instead of my matte top coat :( I was sad!

The only bad thing about this, is that I bought a mini!!

Have a great day all!

My First Sponge Gradient!

Hello All!

I hope you are having a good week?

I am super excited about this mani, for this is the first time I have done anything remotely close to this! And it was super easy! Like, seriously easy. If I can do it.. So can you!

This is a sponge gradient! I got the tutorial from Neverland Nail Blog and she got it from Laynie Fingers. She is seriously amazing! Like.. seriously! I am sure when I first got onto her site I spent all night looking at her mani's. She is soo talented!

Okay, so for this mani, I did two coats of Sinful's Snow me White, and sponged over it, Revlon Blue Lagoon, Sinful Innocent, and Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Pink Blink!!

So pretty! :D

And pardon my index finger, I forgot which way the sponge was going!

Also, I apologize for the redness of my hands, I don't think light green is my color!

A Bit Dotty.

Hello All!

I hope you all had a great weekend! And a fantastic Easter, or Resurrection Sunday as I like to call it. For to me, it's not about the bunnies, chocolate, or the presents. It is about the day when My Lord and Savior rose again from the grave, defeating death and making it possible for all who believe in him to spend eternity with him in heaven.

And now onto the mani..

So I don't have any dotting tools. I don't know why, but.. I really want some! However, in the meantime, I have to make due to making dots with the end of a bobby pin.

For this mani, I used three coats of Cinderella, added a coat of Seche Vite, and when that was dry, used tape and added Illamasqua's Phallic (not the best name, but such a beautiful color!) After that was dry, I took a bobby pin, and added the dots!

Not quite as great as dotting tools! But they work for now!!

I hope you all have a good day!

Essie's Sure Shot.

On Monday I got some Epic nail mail on Monday. First, I got my Spring Surprise package, which is basically like a Secret Santa Sort of thing. And the person who had me, just happened to be in My Birthday club! And her mail was amazing! She killed off two of my lemmings, which are being featured in this post.

This is Essie's Sure Shot. It is a beautiful deep magenta. This baby applied beautifully! It was opaque in one coat, but I put on two. After that, and a coat of SV It was done!

Until I looked at my other fulfilled lemming and decided to do an accent nail.

That is Icing's Lemme See Your Peacock! It's such a pretty glitter, with magenta, green and blue round glitters. The magenta glitters sort of blended into Sure Shot leaving just the blue and green glitters!

So So pretty!!! And thank you again to Spencer for this amazing nail polish!!

My other package contained Fantasy Fire!! There will be a blog post on that soon!

NOTD: Wet n Wilds's Bow in my Presence

So I picked up this polish at Fred Meyer the other day. Let me just tell you, that store is amazing! I was ohhing and ahhing over all the polish they had. I was like a kid in a Candy store!!

Anyways onto the polish! Now Wet-N-Wild put out these polishes are they are supposed to  be dupes of the China Glaze Prismatics Collection, I actually don't have any of the Prismatics, so I can't tell you if they are or not.. But this polish is beautiful!!

It's a Silvery blue duochrome glitter that flashes to pink! It has larger blue and pink glitters in it.. and it was a dream to apply.. if a bit sheer!

The below pictures are 4 coats. I put on a coat of SV, but it seemed to dull the duochrome. So I added another coat on top of that..

So pretty right? However that pink shimmer is shy and it didn't want to come out to play! So the next two pictures are ones that I took in my car this morning, in attempt to capture it.. Yes, that is my teal/blue purse! I love it :D

You can sorta see the pink in the last picture!

And pardon my little nubbins.. I decided to cut them down...

Have a Great Day! And don't forget to enter my giveaway!
