So this weekend, I got my first two Nubar polishes!! I got Reclaim, which is an amazing Holo Green. (Which I actually wore all Saturday, because we had *gasp* Sun!! Sun is a rare thing around here. To quote Sleepless is Seattle. "It rains 9 months out of the year in Seattle.") I didn't get a good picture of it though.. seeing as I had to be outside to get the holo effect!
And the other polish I got is Greener. It's a super pretty deep green shimmer!
Did any of you get any cool polishes this weekend?
So how quickly does it dry? Is it easy to work with? I can't wait to hear what you think about it, I've never used Nubar.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have only used Reclaim so far. But it dried pretty quickly, though Holo's usually do. And It was pretty easy to work with. It went on really smooth and nice! And I liked the brush, it wasn't all wide and annoying like some of the Sally Hansen's were! :D
DeleteEasy to work with, eh? That's rather rare of the vegan lines. I hate super duper wide brushes unless I'm painting someone's nails red with say, OPI-that way the wide brush allows me to "fake it" a little and get a wide, fat, straight line super duper close to the nail folds, but otherwise, most fat brushes get in the way of "thicker" formulas. : )
ReplyDeleteWhere do you buy the Nubar? I have a Sally's here but they don't sell Nubar. THey don't even have the Essie collection.
ReplyDeleteI bought it online at bynubar.com. The bottles are about 8 dollars each I think? But the shipping was super steep! Just an FYI
