Jessica Fall 2012 Spicy Dream Collection: Swatches and Review

Hello everyone!! I hope everyone's week is going well?

Today, I have Jessica's Fall 2012 Collection called Spicy Dream to show you all! Now, I was sitting at work, minding my own business (and working!) when one of the packers brought back a box for me, and in it was this beautiful collection! I was fully stunned as I started to pull the polishes out of the box, they were all so pretty and I couldn't wait to get them on.

And now, without further adieu..

The polishes!

First up we have Brown Sugar, which is a brown polish that has a silver shimmer in it. It is super pretty, and I don't quite have anything like this in my collection. The polish went on well, it was a bit thick, but a good thick, and the below pictures are two coats of Brown Sugar and one coat of HK Girl top coat.

Next up we have Crimson Tattoo Which is a Blackened Deep Wine Jelly. When I first put this polish on, all I could think of was blood! It seriously almost looked like there was blood on my nails! However the next few coats made it less blood like, and more wine like. It is pretty dark, and I liked it. It's a nice vampy color, perfect for fall!

Application was good, it went on smoothly and I had no trouble with it at all. The below pictures are three coats of Crimson Tattoo and one coat of HK Girl top coat.

Next up, we have Gingersnap, which is a totally unique polish. This is a lovely, sparkly, golden orange duochrome-y (Yes, I know that is not a word) glitter polish.. Sorta. The glitter is really refined and goes on super smoothly.. Think Zoya Fei Fei.. That is what this polish is like. It is certainly super cool, and I loved it!

The polish went on well, and the below pictures are three coats of Gingersnap and one coat of HK Girl Top Coat!

And now, we have Gingersnap's Ginger sister Pumpkin Delight! (I don't know why but for some reason I just thought of Turkish Delight from The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe! That would be an awesome name for a polish!) Anyways, this is another beautiful glitter duo-chrome.. But just a bit more reddish orange.. Seriously amazing, and seriously sparkly! These glitters are just.. magical! And you need them. Really!

The polish went on well, and the below pictures are three coats of Pumpkin Delight with one coat of HK Girl Top Coat over it.

Next up is Cinnamon Kiss, Which is another deep blackened reddish orange shimmer! This was seriously one of my favorites of the collection. I just loved the color, it totally just screams fall to me, and it makes me think of cold nights, and snuggling in a blanket while watching TV. As well as cold windy days when the fall leaves are blowing around! Totally one of my favorite times of the year!

Anyways..This polish went one well. No application problems at all. The below pictures are two coats of Cinnamon Kiss and one coat of HK Girl Top Coat

Now we come to one of my favorite polishes from this collection. This is Champagne Bubbles! Isn't that an awesome name? My Nickname is Munchy Bubbles, so anything with bubbles in the title is made for me!
Not to mention I love this sort of Champagne Platinum sort of color, and it's the same type of glitter as in Gingersnap and Pumpkin Delight. This color is just.. super classy to me.. And it's a step up from a normal white.. Give it a bit of.. pizazz!

The below pictures are three coats of Champagne Bubbles and one Coat of Dazzle Dry Top Coat.. (Switching up the top coats! I used this as a base for a tape mani that I will show you later)

Lovely isn't it? My Favorites were, Cinnamon Kiss, Champagne Bubbles and Pumpkin Delight, What are yours?

The collection was supposed to be up on the website on August first, but as of right now it's still not there. So keep checking back!

I hope you all have a great day!

*These products were sent to me for review, all opinion's are my own personal thoughts and feelings.

piCture pOlish: Honeydew swatches and a little bit of stamping! *gasp*

Hello All,

Today I have an amazing polish for you. This is piCture pOlish's honeydew!! This is actually my first piCture pOlish and I was super excited to get it. Hopefully this won't be my last, I have a few on the way, and a couple on my wish list as well.

This polish is a nice mint creme, it looks way blue-er in the pictures, but for some reason my camera didn't want to make this thing true to life, so.. minty blue is what you get. But please be aware that it is much more green in real life.. Like wayyy more green. As in, there is no blue in this polish.

It went on well, a little streaky here and there, but then again what can you expect from light creme polish? The below pictures are three coats.. And pardon the funky hand poses. I am attempting to find a few that I like, so.. until I do, you might see my fingers at some odd angles! Don't forget to tell me what you think of them!

The below pictures are 3 coats of honeydew and one coat of Dazzle dry top coat!

And now for the Stamping! I decided that I couldn't leave such a beautiful polish alone, so I attempted to stamp on it. I'm not very good at it.. I have stamped before but my efforts have not ended up on the blog due to the fact that they were not perfect.

These aren't perfect either, but They are an attempt! So.. please bear with me as I try and get this stamping thing down!

I used aEngland's St George for the designs..

And yes, my ring finger is matted, I did that after I stamped, I think it gave it a rather neat effect.

Hope you enjoyed this! Let me know what you think! :D

Have a great day!

KBShimmer! Preview of the Fall Collection!

Hello everyone, and welcome to a very special edition of Munchy's nails.

Today, I have five new colors from KBShimmer's upcoming fall collection, there are 8 polishes in this collection in total, and you can bet I will be getting the other three when they become available on September 1st, (can you believe that it is almost September?? Where did the summer go?) they can be found at her website found here, as well as at Harlow & Co found here. Also be sure to follow her via her Facebook page, found here!

Now KBShimmer is quickly becoming one of my favorite indie brands. All of her polishes are amazing, and the application on them is flawless. The glitters come out nice and easily, and they go on the nail perfectly without having to fish them out or fuss with placement!.

These polishes I am about to show you are no exception. All of their application was flawless and all of them went on without any trouble at all. I used three coats on them all with the exception of Jack, (which I will get to in a minute) And all of them have one coat of CND Air dry top coat on them.

Also, they are all (with the exception of one) Jelly polishes with glitter in them. I can not tell you how much I love that! It's like a jelly sandwich in one polish. I am not much for plain glitter toppers, so all of these polishes are right up my alley

Are you ready for the amazing-ness??

Let's dive in shall we?

First up is Jack which is a black jelly with orange hex glitters in several sizes and micro orange bars. Black hexes and shreds complete this polish. The black hexes and shreds were a little hard to see. This is actually two coats of Jack over one coat of Sinful's Black on Black.

I loved this polish, not only does it remind me of Halloween, but it is also the colors for my favorite baseball team, The San Francisco Giants! Weee!! I can celebrate two things in one! Thank you KBShimmer, for making my ultimate sports themed polish!

Next up we have No Whine Left, which is a deep plum color with blue, fuchsia, and purple hex glitters in several sizes. I loved this polish, it went on amazingly and the color is to die for! I don't think I have anything quite like it in my collection. It's perfect for fall, such a rich deep color! It also reminds me of a rich deep glass of wine, that you can hold in your hand while you watch the Autumn leaves drop to the ground.

Here we have Oh Splat! - A white jelly polish loaded with the 6 rainbow colors in many different sizes. This reminders me of a painters drop cloth, or a splatter painting.
It honestly did remind me of a painters drop cloth! I was staring at my nails, turning them a bit just looking at all the colorful glitters that would show up in a sea of white! This polish had me mesmerized, and I just loved looking at it. It's a party on your nails! Or rather.. a splat on your nails?? Ehh.. you get the point! Happy nails!

Next up is, Witch Way? This polish, with its deep grape color is full of holographic glitters, and it totally reminds me of a night sky. This has got to be one of my favorite polishes of the bunch, it has such a unique base color and all the holo sparkles in this polish really make it light up! It's almost like you have a disco ball on your nails! Or, a night sky full of stars. Either way, it's amazing! And you need it. Just sayin'.

And finally we have, I made a Bleu Bleu! Which is a Royal Blue base with subtle green shimmer and micro gold and purple sparkles. This polish is to die for, especially if you are a blue lover like me! It's so perfect and shimmery! A great addition to this marvelous fall collection.

And there you have it, 5 of the 8 of KBShimmers Fall collection, out on September first!

Which one was your favorite? Which ones will you be picking up??

Let me know!! :D

Rainbow Honey Mare of the Moon, swatches and review

Hello All,

Today I have an amazing polish for you! May I introduce you to, Rainbow Honey, Mare of the Moon!
This polish is amazing, it is a pretty blue color, with holographic sparkles as well as some larger holo glitter and some silver crescent moon glitter! The moons all decided that they wanted to come out on my pointer finger, hence why it looks a little lumpy, there are three moons there!

The polish went on smoothly, and I have no trouble whatsoever getting the glitters out, except for the moons of course.. Darn things..

What is also so great about this polish, is that it has an amazing purple shift in the light. I attempted to get some pictures of it, but it wasn't working so well. I caught a bit of it in the last few pictures, so I hope you can see it!

If not, you will just have to take my word on how awesome this polish is!

The below pictures are 3 coats of Mare of the Moon, and one coat of Dazzle Dry Top Coat to make it all nice and shiny.

While this picture I took at work, in order to show you some of the purple shift that this polish has!! It is amazing, and yet my Camera did not want to pick it up! Bad Camera, Bad!

Revlon Royal, for those of you who don't know, is my favorite polish in the world.. ever. It's such a beautiful deep blue jelly! The below pictures are two coats of Revlon Royal..

Now Sonnetarium Snowfall is an amazing Indie glitter topcoat. It has multiple sizes of white glitter in a clear base as well as some iridescent glitters mixed in as well. The below pictures are just one coat of Snowfall, so you can see that it went on really well, and so many glitters came out! It really was like snow falling onto my nails!
