Frankens!!!

Happy Monday all!! I hope you all had a great weekend? I had a pretty amazing weekend.. on Saturday I spent the whole afternoon Frankening polishes! It was super fun, and I have some swatches for you.. 

First up is : Teal, the color of Gangrene (Weird name I know.. but if you have ever seen "The Wedding Planner, you will get it)

Next up is: Sea Pearl! This is definitely my favorite, and I was most proud of this one!

And last but not least we have : Smoke on the Water! This is such a pretty color as well! :D

I wish I could tell you the recipes for these things, but I just sort of dumped a little of this, and a little of that in there! Talk to you later!

Blue Friday!!

Hey all!!! It's Blue Friday!! I am so excited about this mani! I LOVE jelly's and I LOVE the color blue.. so what did I do? I made a jelly sandwich!!

I used Revlon's Royal, and in between the layers, China Glaze's Fairy Dust! It looks super pretty in the light, but I don't think I was quite able to catch it on Camera. Anyways, here is the mani!

A little bit of everything.

So for this mani.. I had an image in my head.. I wanted to do a half moon mani over some glitter..
And somehow, it didn't quite turn out how I pictured it in my head.. But nothing ever really does!

I used one Coat of Sally Hansen's Gem Crush in Lady Luck, and to be honest, I wasn't too fond of it. I don't think I like such chunky glitters. It just looked like it was a mess on my nails.. and a top coat eater as well! I don't have Gelous yet.. so..
After applying two coats of top coat, I taped off my nails, and added Sinful's What's your name. It's a black that has blue shimmer in it, that is actually really hard to see!
And after I did that... I decided it needed something, so I did a little cloud action, with China Glaze's Ruby Pumps. 

What do you all think??

Oh and a question, Anyone know of some good jelly polishes? I have Revlon Royal, but I would like a few more! Any suggestions? Anything but OPI, I can't really get my hands on those!

Also, I am thinking of doing a giveaway soon, once I have a few more followers.. Any suggestions for what you would like to see?

Tiny little haul!

So this weekend, I got my first two Nubar polishes!! I got Reclaim, which is an amazing Holo Green. (Which I actually wore all Saturday, because we had *gasp* Sun!! Sun is a rare thing around here. To quote Sleepless is Seattle. "It rains 9 months out of the year in Seattle.") I didn't get a good picture of it though.. seeing as I had to be outside to get the holo effect!

And the other polish I got is Greener. It's a super pretty deep green shimmer!
Did any of you get any cool polishes this weekend? 

a Follow up :D

So, if you couldn't guess from my previous post, I was rooting for the Patriots. But they lost :( Oh well, at least my nails looks good!
I used China Glaze's Icicle, for the base and then just took tape and taped off different sections of my nail, and I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme nail polish in Red Carpet and Blue-it.

I personally think my thumb turned out the best!! :D It was my first time trying this pattern! The next one should be better now that I know what to expect!

Blue Friday!!

Hello All!! Happy Friday!! I would like to announce

There are various other blogs who do pink Wednesday.. Based on a movie called Mean Girls. However, since I didn't like that movie.. and I would rather blue anyways.. I invented..
Blue Fridays!!! I will wear Blue Nail polish every Friday! I am super excited, this gives me an opportunity to wear more of my favorite color.. BLUE!! And of course.. it gives me an excuse to buy more blue polish :D

So here is my first Blue Friday mani.. It's Zoya's Charla. I love this polish.. It's amazing. This is about 3 coats, with a coat of SV over it!!
