Blue Addicted!

Happy Friday All! I hope you are all are looking forward to a good weekend! I know I am!
Well, seeing as this is Friday, that means it is Blue Friday! A special day to set aside and celebrate my favorite color! If anyone wants to join me in this endeavor, please let me know and feel free to take the button that I made over on my side bar!

Today I have a fun mani for you all! This is two coats of Essence's Blue addicted (could there be a more perfect name?) over Essence's Chuck!

Let me tell you, I LOVED how Chuck applied, it was smooth, creamy and was fully opaque in one coat! If all the twins polishes are like this, I want them all now!!

After that I put on two coats of Blue Addicted, which is a dark blue jelly filled with tiny blue glitter and larger green glitter! It applied super well, and I can't wait to use it again!

Super pretty!!

I hope you all have a great weekend, and don't forget to enter my giveaway!!

Essence Confetteria- Swatches and review.

Hello All!
I hope everyone had a good weekend! I apologize for the lack of posts, my weekend wasn't too great, and life caught up with me a bit.
But I am back! :D

Today I have for you, Essence Confetteria!
This is a beautiful dark blue jelly with multicolored smaller glitters and larger dark blue glitters. This was such a pretty polish, I got this in a swap from a friend of mine in Germany!

However, I must warn you, despite how pretty this is.. it was a PAIN to put on! Seriously, this polish had the consistency of glue. It was thick and gloopy and was super hard to apply. But it's so beautiful.. I think it might be worth it.

These pictures are three coats, with two coats of Seche Vite over it.

The pictures also make this look purple. It's not. It's a deep blue! So pretty!!!

Also, I had some Nail mail arrive on Monday!

My butter Londons Arrived!!!!!!! Woo! So excited! This is Disco Biscuit, HRH, and Queen Vic! (Pardon the reflection of my phone case in the caps) However, I was a bit disappointed.. I swatched Queen Vic on two nails and decided I didn't like it.. :( This is what I get for leaving my comfort zone of blue.. and getting pink! I should have gotten Royal Navy like I wanted too. :(
Anyone want to take it off my hands for me?

Hope you have a good day!

Barry M!!

Good Afternoon All! I have a super exciting mani to show you today.
Well, it's super exciting to me! Yesterday I got some nail mail that I was SO excited about. Me and another Blogger friend of mine decided to swap and she killed off two (actually three, but that is for another post) of my major lemmings! In the package was Barry M Shocking Pink and Indigo! (There was so much more than that in there.. but that is for another post!)

And since I was looking at the two colors, and couldn't decide which to do.. I did both!!!

Here is a tape mani with Barry M's Shocking Pink and Indigo.

Indigo is a beautiful blurple.. but over the pink it looks purple! I actually have it alone on my other hand and it looks fully blue! :D

This is about three coats of base coat, two coats of Shocking Pink, one coat of SV. And then after all that dried, I taped my fingers off and added one coat of Indigo and another Coat of SV.. and Tadah!!!

So pretty!!!

So pretty!!!! Thanks so much Liane!!

Hope you have a good day!

Karine's Oui Je le Veux. Swatches and Review!

Good Afternoon All!
Today I have a polish from a Brand new Frankener Karine! This polish is part of her Birthday Club series, which is a collection of ten jellies inspired by the women in her Birthday Club.

Today I have Oui Je Le Veux, which translated means, "Yes I will." It is a beautiful dusty pink jelly that is packed with multicolored Glitters and Flakies! It is fully drool worthy.

It is a jelly, so you can still see some Visible Nail Line, even after three coats. This would work well layering over a creme, or if you don't care about VNL, used alone for an amazing look!

The polish dries shiny and fairly smooth. It's not a top coat eater.

for the Photo's below, I used three coats of Oui Je le Veux and two coats of Seche Vite.

This picture is a little blurred to show the glittery goodness!

This is such a beautiful polish!

Be sure to follow Karine here, and watch for when the polish goes on sale. Which should be on April 1st!
I hope you have a great day!!

*disclaimer* This polish is not 3 free.

*this product was sent to me for review*

St Patrick's Day mani!!

Happy St. Patricks Day Everyone!!

Here is my St. Patricks Day.. Skittle!! Woo!! :D

For this I used, 2 coats of Nubar Reclaim on my Thumb, then 4 Coats of Zoya's Ivanka on my Pointer Finger, 4 Coats of SaGreena the Teenage Witch, on my middle finger. 4 coats of China Glaze Paper Chasing, on my ring finger and 2 Coats of Sally Hansen's Jade Jump on my Pinky!! Woo! That is many nail polishes but I am not done! After all that was done.. I put on two coats of Zoya's Maisie, and then mattified all my nails!

And here I have a little Friend to help me out with my Pictures!! :D

And then.. since I was slightly bored and feeling creative.. I did my.. First ever Nail Art!!!!!
Yup, It's a Pot of Gold! I freehanded it using an orange stick and a bobby pin! Not bad eh? I like it! I'm super proud of it too!!
I used Sinful Black on Black and Snow me White, for the pot and the clouds. Orly's Glitz and Glamour for the gold..

I'm so proud!!

What do you all think??

Blue and Green Ocean!

Hello all!
Happy Blue Friday! :D

Today I have a fun mani for you! It might lean a little more teal than blue but :D

This is Sinful's Savage, and boy did I get a surprise when I put this baby on! It was a matte! That's right, a beautiful medium blue matte that applied beautifully in two coats! So pretty! I loved this color, but I wanted to spice it up a little bit. Oh a little note.. be sure to use a base coat for this polish, I didn't and when I took it off, it had stained!

After Savage had dried, I used one coat of Green Ocean over it! Such beautiful Green and Blue Flakies! *drools*

Oh and when I reach 100 followers, I will be having a giveaway.. and I think you all will enjoy it! :D

Have a great weekend!

A jelly sandwich!

Happy Wednesday All!
I apologize for the delay, but I have been sick, and haven't been up to posting! But I think I am finally on the way to recovery! Hopefully!

So you all know how much I love Jellies right? And I couldn't help but want to play and layer with them.. and so tadah this mani was born.

I started out by using Sally Hansen's Red Carpet, which is an amazing red glitter. After that I added a layer of Orly's Swet Tart, which is a sheer reddish pink jelly. I wore it alone, and it looked magenta to me, but here layered over the Red Carpet,it turned a beautiful red color!

After that, I layered Essie's Shine of the times, and then another layer of Sweet Tart!

The pictures don't really do this mani justice at all! You can barely see Shine of the times, but in person it was amazing!! So much depth and sparkle! I hated taking this one off! :D

I hope you all have a great week! :D

A slightly failed double lightening bolt mani.

Good Afternoon all! I hope you are having a good week so far?

Well, last night I decided to get a little creative, and do a double lightening bolt mani. I found the Tutorial on how to do this at the Lovely Jane at Nailside! Her stuff is amazing! :D

Since I have naturally ridged nails, I was born with them.. YAY for hereditary.. (that was sarcasm!) Anyways, I had to buff them to within an inch of their lives, and then put on three.. yup three coats of Orly's Nail Armor, just so the darn tape will stick and be smooth and not leave little "waves" on my nails. I think I might need a better ridge filling base coat..

Anyways, after all that! I put on three coats of Finger Pants Pop Rock Pink!! I love this polish, it's such a pretty sparkly pink jelly! And you all know me and jellies! :D

After I put a top coat on that, and it had dried for awhile, I actually ate dinner before the next part. I tape off my nails and added a coat of Finger Paints Blue Raspberry taffy! Such a pretty blue creme! I added a coat of SV.. and waited.

Now we come to the fail part! See this is the first time I have done this, and it took me three fingers to figure out how to place the tape just right! GAH!! So I taped it off again.. and used Sinful's Black on Black for the tips, and then another coat of SV.. and I was done!!

*sighs* I think they look okay.. but I wish I had figured out the tape placement sooner than my ring finger! Though.. my pinky nail is super itty bitty (I have super tiny hands to begin with).. and I managed to do it right on that one! So.. I was proud of that :D

I hope you all have a great day!

So I was reading over on Emma Thea's Blog about a 11 question Tag:

Here are the rules to this particular tag:
Each person must post 11 things about themselves on their blog

You have to choose 11 people to tag and link them on the post.
Go to their page and tell them you have linked him or her.
No tag backs.
No stuff in the tagging section about "You are tagged if you're reading this" You actually have to tag 11 people.

A Twisted Deep Purple.. and a cat!

Happy Monday All!
I hope you all had a great weekend? I did for the most part, on Saturday I went out polish shopping! But most of the stuff I got was for my Birthday Club, and a swap with another blogger! :D I did however find Green Ocean.. or rather actually..
My husband did! He got it for me! He is so sweet! Definitely what I needed after my terrible week last week!

Anyways onto the mani! :D

Here I used three coats of Sally Hansen's Deep Purple and used Hard Candy's Matte-ly in Love over it, to turn it into a beautiful purple matte color!! So gorgeous! After that, I put two coats of Finger Paints Twisted on my tips, and matte-fied that! :D

So pretty!!!! And Pardon the scratch  on my thumb, my cat and I had a fight yesterday!
Want to see the Little Darling who did this to me?
This is Kevin!! My diva of a cat.. Yes it's a girl.. named Kevin!

The Hunger Games have arrived!

Well, they have in my house at least.. the nail polishes that is! :D To be honest I have never read the books.. they seem a little.. violent to me!
I ordered them from Sally Beauty last week, and they got in last night!! I am so excited! Here is what came in my package!

From Left to Right: Orly's Sweet Tart,(a seriously beautiful Jelly, yes I know it's not a hunger game polish.. I needed an extra polish to bump me up for a discount!) China Glaze: Riveting, Harvest Moon, Luxe and Lush, Agro and Stone Cold!  And my lovely napkin that I use as the background for my pictures! :D hehe.

So once I got the package, I took my other nail polish off, and put one of each color on each of my fingers to try and decide what colors I should paint my nails.. With the help of my husband, I decided to go with Riveting, A beautiful Orange Jelly like polish with some amazing Flecks in it. And Stone Cold, the matte of the collection, a black with a silver shimmer.

To me they looked like Fire and ashes!

So.. I used one coat of Stone Cold on my Thumb, Middle Finger and Pinky, and then put a coat of SV over them, seeing as I wanted them shiny for this mani! And then I put three coats of Riveting on my Pointer and Ring Finger.. and then added a coat of SV..

And Tada!!

So Pretty!!! What are your favorite Hunger games polishes??
