Neon Dots!

Hello All,

Today I have another doticure for you! I hope you aren't tired of them yet, for they are quickly becoming my favorite type of nail art! Today I have for you, a neon dot manicure!

YAY! Who doesn't love neons? And this is a perfect way to rock some neons without having all of your nails Day Glo Orange or Bright Yellow. You could do this even as an accent nail, and still be on trend!

So I started this mani off with three coats of Icing's Dance in the Moonlight, but it was super sheer (though it did have a surprise for me later) so I put on one coat of Essie's Marshmallow over it, to get the white I wanted.

After that dried, I took Sinful's Summer Peach, (which by the way, is not peach it's a bright day glow orange) and Neon Melon (which is highlighter yellow) and China Glaze's Love's a Beach, I'm with the Lifeguard (which is the greatest neon green polish.. EVER) and Splish Splash (Which isn't a neon blue, but at least it is bright) and dotted them on my nails.

What do you all think?

This Picture I took out in the sun.. Look how insanely bright this was!

And remember the little surprise I said Dance in the moonlight had for me?? It GLOWED IN THE DARK!! It freaked me out when I turned off the lights and suddenly my nails were glowing!!! it didn't say anywhere on the bottle, but there it was.. Glowing! It had a super good glow as well! I didn't get any pictures of it though :( Next time!

Have a good day!!

Try It On Tuesday! OPI Just Spotted the Lizard

Hello All,
Welcome to the second, Try it On Tuesday! Today I have an amazing polish for you. This is OPI's Just Spotted the Lizard. This polish is fully amazing! It's a lovely duochrome, that is supposed to be a dupe for Chanel's Peridot, (But I don't actually have any Chanel polish so I can't swatch them for sure) This polish is a lovely golden bronze color with green and blue flashes! I was so distracted when this was on my nails, I would keep staring at them as I walked and they would changed color!

If you don't have this color, or any of it's dupes! You need it, I wore this for nearly a week straight! It went on beautifully, and though it did show some brushstrokes, if you have a light hand it should work well.

The below pictures are three coats of Just Spotted the Lizard and one coat of Poshe Top Coat!

Gray and Pink Dots!

Hello All!

I will announce a winner tonight!! And Never fear, another giveaway will be up this week!!

Today I have a fun mani for you, one that once again has been inspired by something. I have some really cool notebook paper that is white, but has gray and pink and white dots on it.. And since I love my dotting tool..

I took it out and created this!

I used three coats of Sally Hansens Xtreme wear in Wet Cement. Now, I never thought that I would actually use a gray on my nails, but I liked it a whole lot. It really made the perfect base for the dots. It went on super smooth as well.

After that had dried, I used Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in Twisted Pink, Sinful Snow me White and Sally Hansen Insta Dry in Pink Blink!

After that dried, I used on coat of Poshe top coat, which I really don't like. It just doesn't seem to work well for me. Seche Vite shrinks like mad, thankfully Poshe doesn't.. I need to combine the two I think, to get the perfect top coat!

I hope you liked it!! And that weird gray stuff on my nails, is just top coat.. you couldn't see it in real life!

Hope you have a good day!

Try it On Tuesday!

Hello All! Welcome to my first Try It on Tuesday! Several bloggers and I got together to make a dedicated day to try out your untried's. I don't know about you, but I have several nail polishes that are just sitting on the top of my dresser, just waiting for me to try them on. This is the perfect excuse to do just that!

Today I have for you, two untrieds. I have Essence: A night in Soho, and an accent nail of China Glaze's Love's a Beach. These two colors go together beautifully, and I really had wished my camera would have picked up how bright Love's a Beach was. It was super neon and so gorgeous!

The below pictures are 3 coats of each, with one coat of Poshe Top Coat. Enjoy :)

Another Doticure!

First of all.. I have to say.. Holy Cow Guys!!! 500 followers??? You are super awesome! After this giveaway end, I will have to have another to celebrate that milestone!! :D

So today I have a pretty special mani to show you! It's a doticure that was inspired by my... cell phone case of all things!

I guess it was inevitable! I stare at that thing all the time, and eventually I knew I had to at least try and  copy a little bit of style and the colors of my case!

So onto the colors, and what I did, and I will show you a picture of the case later!

I used two coats of Sinful's Snow Me White, and then used a coat of Seche Vite, (which I had to struggle with to get on, it's getting to it's "thick stage) and waited for that to dry. After that, I took tape and taped off half my nails, and used Sinful Black on Black.

After that dried, I took out my dotting tools, and used Finger Paints Blue Raspberry Taffy for the blue Dots and China Glaze's Wicked Style for the Pink dots!

After that dried, I put on another coat of Seche Vite and it bubbled!! Gah!! But, at least it looked good enough to take pictures!

365 Days Of Color: Eiffel Tower

Hello All!

Today I have another amazing 365 days of color to show you! Seriously this polish is amazing, but then again, everything by this brand is amazing.

This Polish is called Eiffel Tower, and is apart of her upcoming collection Travel The World Collection! Which will be released with 7 of it's brothers and sisters later in June.

I LOVE the Eiffel Tower, and It was so amazing to have this color on my nails! It is filled with several different gold glitters as well as some gold Holo Hexes!! The glitter went on easily, and I had no trouble at all getting any of them out onto the nail!

The below pictures are two coats of Eiffel Tower over Sinful Black on Black! I used one coat of Poshe top coat, and I had no trouble with feeling any grittiness on my nails!

Essence Modern Romance

 Hello all!!

I hope you are all having an amazing day?

Lately, I have really be getting into Essence polishes! I love their cute tiny bottles, and their flat brush is super great for application, and these little Color and Go polishes are only 99 cents at Fred Meyer and Ulta! Their make up is also pretty nice as well! But, I won't be swatching the lip glosses I have from them for you. Even though they are amazing, and not sticky at all!

Just sayin'

Anyways, back to our nail polish!

This polish is called Modern Romance, and it is a shimmery light pinky peach.. This was actually pretty close to my actual skin tone, but when I matted it, the polish got darker, so no mannequin hands for me!

The polish went on super smoothly, and the below pictures are three coats of Modern Romance plus one coat of Poshe Top coat. (I switched top coats for now, to see how this one works out. I will let you know how I feel about it, the jury's still out.)

Cobalt Depths

Hello All!

I hope you are having a great week!

Today I have a special treat for you! A few months ago I got inspired to have a summer themed indie giveaway, and so I went to a few indie polish makers and asked them to help me come up with some summer themed polishes..

This is what the Lovely Karine came up with! The inspiration for this special polish, named Cobalt depths, is the ocean! It is a a deep blue jelly based, packed with small blue square glitter, bigger purple glitter, and even bigger light blue square glitter that did just not want to come out and play!!

Isn't it amazing??

This is two coats of Cobalt Depths over two coats of Sinfuls Sweet Dreams!!

There are only two of these polishes in existence! One for me, and one for my special giveaway!

Essence Duo's

Hello All!

I have a fun post for you today. Recently, I discovered a store near us called Fred Meyer, which is basically like a Wal-Mart or a Target, however they had an AMAZING Beauty section! They have Milani, Color Club, OPI, and best of all.. Essence!!

I saw this color Duo in Midnight Date, and I knew I had to have it.

It's a double ended nail polish bottle, with a dark shimmery blue on one end called Midnight Date, and the other side is a purple shimmery flakie top coat! Who doesn't like Flakies??

Photobucket

I really love the unique look to it. And the fact that you basically get three colors in the bottle.
I put on two coats of Midnight date. And it applied perfectly! It went on smooth and easily, and it was so gorgeous. And then on my accent nail, I added one coat of City that Never Sleeps, the flakie top coat! It was so amazing in real life, the pictures don't really do it justice. You can really see the shimmer in the bottle shots!

Also, as soon as I reach 300 followers, I will be having an amazing giveaway!!
