Epic Jelly Sandwich!

Hello All!

Today I have a pretty fun mani for you. Some of you know, (and some of you don't) that I am on a pretty major no buy this month, and most of next month. It's both sad and happy for me. Sad, because there are so many amazing Indie Halloween collections coming out this month, and I can't get any of them! (Insert sad face here) It seems like I am destined to never have any Girly Bits! (Yes, I know that sounded odd..)

But, the upside to all of this, is that I am finally getting to go through all my untried's  I have had some pretty epic swatching sessions, so be prepared for some major swatch posts! (I'm looking at you butter London!) I've gone from well over 50 untried's down to 26! (Not counting the polishes I have to review) In just over two weeks! I am so excited, pretty soon my top shelf of my nail polish storage area will be empty! Yipee!!

So, this mani killed off.. 6 yes that is right.. 6 of my untrieds! How you may ask? Well, through a Jelly sandwich of course!! :D

Okay.. so here goes what I used.. Be prepared for.. an epic explanation.

I started off with two coats of Nina's Ultra Pro in Purple Pizazz, which is a super pretty purple shimmer.      After that, I put on one coat of Essence's It's Purplelicious, (The one with the square glitter!)
Once that was dry, I added one coat of OPI's Houston We Have a Purple, which is a lovely purple jelly.
On top of that I added one coat of FingerPaints Laughing My Art Off, which is a super sparkly blue glitter, and then added another coat of OPI's Houston we have a Purple.
Next I added Nina's Ulta Pro in Boys-N-Berries, which is an super sparkly magenta glitter.. and lastly.. I added two coats of OPI's Do you Think I'm Texy, which is a lovely pinky purple jelly! I Topcoated and was done!!

WHEW!! That was long.. but I really like how they turned out..

What do you think?? The pictures don't really do it justice! It's uberly sparkly, even in the land of no sun (Pacific Northwest) I am pretty sure I have about 10-11 coats of nail polish on! Wee!

Would you try this to get rid of your untrieds? And how do you like what I did??

Let me know!!

Have an amazing day!

Munchy

    1. I think there is 13 actually, I put on a fast dry top coat in the middle, and then another coat of topcoat!! :D My nails look a little thick, but it's soo pretty! The pictures can't capture the sparkle!
